Have you checked for vacuum leaks? If all is good there run your codes and see what you get.Be sure to re-set the idle after any mjor service.
Did you get the spark plug wires wires right at the coil pack?

Might as well clear this up now, What did you perform a FRONT 60K or an UPPER 60K?

Front= where all the pullies are.

Upper= where the intake and valve covers are.

Tell us exactly what you replaced.

Make sure you plugged the connector for the IAC back in.

The IAC is responsible for maintaining idle. Yours is not working.

could be an airleak from the intake manfold gaskets, if you reused the old ones. fordpartsnetwork.com carries new ones @12.49 each.

My 93 ATX was doing the same exact thing a few weeks ago. I removed my IAC and sprayed the plunger inside down real well w/ carb cleaner, until all the carbon was removed, let it dry reinstalled it and the problem was resolved.
My problem was intermittant at first but started happening more frequently. Try starting the KOEO test and pulling the jumper prematurely to clear the codes, I didnt have any codes, but doing this got my car to start and run until I had a chance to work on it.
Hope this helps.
