Anyone deal with a stuck TOB sleeve before? It won't come off. Heat, pliers, screwdrivers: nothing. Any ideas?

Why are you pulling it?

From SHONut's website-

If you already have a steel sleeve and can't get the old one off easily, reuse it rather than risk snapping off the quill tube and having to get a new bell housing.

I use a Dremel to cut a small slit into the side of the sleve. Works like a charm. Just remember to cut through the quill sleve only, and not into the aluminum.

For install, a piece of pipe is best. If your in a pinch, upu can use a large brass punch, taking alternate hits on opposite sides of the quill ******.

I did manage to not loctite it but we did the pipe thing and it took quite a bit of work to get the sleeve on. I don't think that piece will be moving much.

As for the aftermath on the tranny part itself there were some scrapes from the screw drivers but that's about it.
