I was sure I'm on neutral (MTX) and released the clutch, BANG,engine stopped, UHH! it was 1st gear :ruhroh: . Now engine wont start anymore. It's cranking and I smell fuel . Timing belt is ok. I think maybe TB jump over a couple of tooths?

Wait a sec, let me get this straight...

the car was running, you let the clutch out, the engine stalled, and now it won't start? You probably just flooded the engine, no big deal. Just crank it over with the gas pedal to the floor for a few seconds and then let off the gas.

Yeah no kidding. I did that the first day I brought it to work, and couldn't get it to start. Definitely was not a good look. :slap:
