If it is detachable face, take that off first. There should be two slots on each side of the radio. When you bought the radio, it came with two metal keys that you slide into those slots. You don't necessarily need those keys, just find something long and that will fit into the slots.(hehehe) Hope this helps...

ok, as a loast resort, if you can't get it out, if you can get your fingers behind the outside of the sleeve, you can rip the whole thing out in one shot. the sleeve might get damaged, you can get a new one from crutchfield or kenwood for a few dollars. your DIN fitting shouldn't be damaged, if it does it will be minimal because the metal tabs on the sleeve will bend back before the plastic breaks. the ony problem with this is if the installer bolted the stereo to the back of the console, firewall or floor board. i have never seen an installer who actually does this, but i figured i would mention it.

what about removing the double DIN console from the dash, and then bending the clips back? Better yet, get the stereo removal tools at the Woburn or Billerica Autozone, and pull out the cup/coinholder, and then use your hand to pull the head unit out by grasping the back and pulling. I belive that's what I did. FYI, you need to click the cup and coin holders out, to allow you to pull the unit out.
