I finally signed an 8 month lease for an apartment down in Ypsi, extreme southeast Ypsi actually. I didn't want to go back to an apartment but my options were thin and this place is actually pretty roomy. I no longer have a garage though, so expect me to beg and plead with people when I need to do some brake work

In the meantime, I'll take any help I can get this Saturday. I'll be making trips all through the week, but Saturday and Sunday will be my main moving days. Naturally, food and beverages will be provided to anyone who can lend a hand

Ok, there's nine. 2nd floor apartment, they go straight up to the door. It's a wide staircase with small steps too

And actually, if anyone is free through the week, that may be where I could use the most help. I'll be loading my car up every day this week, and making a stop on my way back to Hartland. I don't want anyone making a big drive to help out because this is just boxes, but if anyone is reasonably close to Ypsi around 5:30pm I could use a hand getting stuff into the apartment.

And I can still use all the help on Saturday I can get

Thanks for the offer Bill! That's ok though, I don't want you to have to unload all that stuff. I've got a couple weeks to get everything moved and I have some equipment, I just really need some extra hands to help, especially with the heavier stuff that Michelle will have trouble with.

Saturday is still the day, rain or shine. Though if it's REALLY rainy I'll put off things like matresses, chairs, etc until Sunday or possibly later. Stay tuned for updates.

You would be referring to "the rules" for moving Something like you have to know a person for X amount of time before you can ask them to help you move. And the time increases if steps are involved.

It's ok though, as with anything else, you can get around the rules with bribery

Well I'm out, I just started a new job and I'm heading in for my shift in about an hour and won't get out till 8 am. Then I need to start replacing the rod bearings on my car, I can hear a nice tic tic tic above 3k rpm's, I caught it early and don't want to toast another 3.2. Sorry Chris.
