I figured out why Monique would only go CLICK when you turned the key... Neg cable was shorting out through a few chewed-through areas, thanks to the superhuge PS Cooler I installed last fall. Whoops.
Replaced the busted solenoid, jump-packed, ran on the starter only for a while to prime the oil pressure, reconnected the DIS & WHOOOOM! And in my state of bliss, I back the car out to turn her around, and WHAM! Ran over a jackstand. *****!
Anyway, it was a nice end to a bad day. Who knows, maybe I'll get her to the dyno on Saturday...

Glad to hear she's running. Sounds like what I found on Blue: some chewed up chasis positive cable. Could've been the cause of the original electrical fire. I'm so glad I'm going to have a trouble-free Gen III.
