how to get light threw my instument cluster

when i got my sho used abaut a year ago It came with white out gauges but a night barely any light shines trew and no light at all on the numbers.how can I fix this

If it has the original white faced gauges, the light through it is very poor. I have found that the 4 bulb LED's are the brighest thing out there. However, they are a bit pricy and you need 8 of them. If you havr the the ones that are the indiglo style they are supposed to light up themsevles. Often the dimmer/control goes bad and they do not light up.

I would remove the dash and check the illumination bulbs. If they are o.k. look for info on the halo gauge replacements and see it they are similar to the overlays on your dash.
