Well if IIRC the stock headlights for GEN I have a design on them to focal the light out as a beam and not scatter it. With HID's. Thou it may. Now the driving light. Yes I do know they are prismatic but, from what I have seen so far they scatter the light wide and narrow and, not all over the place

pretty sure you are the one i was having this same argument with almost a year ago when i had my HIDs installed and i used the same 'I never get flashed from traffic' comment.

i also remember you challenging me to go take a picture at night of how much scatter my HIDs threw off at night and when i went to go do that i never even bothered since even with the beams adjusted all the way down it still scattered 20ft up the building i had the car pointed at from 20ft away.

head on in dim light pics dont work, take a pic from behind the car with your headlights pointed at a building from a 40ft distance in the dark if there isnt a definite difference in the amount of light shining below 3ft up the wall and above it. you fail. sorry. i was officially pwn'd back then as well.

Don't think it was me. Both because I don't remember such a conversation and also because asking for a picture about lights does not sound like me......since most cameras have automatic lighting compensators, I know the results would be contaminated...therefore I would not ask.

I remember that thread and I was one of a couple members that asked for a pic.

As for a camera automatically compensating for light thus making a "contaminated" picture irrelevant, not true at all.
When you're taking a picture of the light beam against a wall you will be able to see how much light gets scatter above an acceptable height; the camera might automatically adjust the white balance, aperture, ISO, etc. but it will not eliminate light from the image. You'll clearly be able to see the scatter and hotspots; remember you're not looking at the colour or brightness accuracy of the picture, but rather what's in it.

Check out the pics below, I don't care what the camera did or didn't do automatically, it's pretty clear which set of lights will and will not blind other drivers.

I actually haven't had any problems. What I have isn't an ebay kit though, it's JD Lighting in proper housings. Been behind a lowered car, and he said they were fine. Even my landlord who is photosensitive said after the initial shot when I turn them on, after a few seconds, they are ok. When on, it looks like natural light, not a blue blinding mess.

I have a DDMtuning 55watt 8k hi/lo (cant tell the differance with hi and lo)kit in my stock headlight housings with no problems from other drivers. I also have kc 26 series fog lights with DDMtuning 55watt 8K H3's with clear leans no diffusers. Those are extremely bright, if I forget to turn them off with oncoming traffic they will flash or just go to high beam every time. I m working on getting projectors, baking the headlights and sanding the glass smooth and retro fitting it. No idea how it is doing to turn out. I have not seen anyone try this any Ideas if anyone has with a 92.
