Now I’m really confused, are you saying some cars might have fuel pressure issues? Some might not? I will concede that a upgraded HFPF will fix all the fuel pressure issues but I was under the impression that you guys had a tune with or without an upgraded HPFP. One would assume that a tune without a HPFP would be safe? Would command less fuel pressure to work within the stock limits? Is this not the case? I know your tuning device can’t datalog so how do you guys update the tunes to make them better? Are you basing everything off 1 vehicle? I haven’t had an issue with my tune but would like some piece of mind that fuel pressure isn’t dipping dangerously low.
The HPFP is an end all cure all solution to this, simply commanding less fuel pressure is not the correct thing that should be done because that is simply a band aid and not a full fix to this issue. Some cars have weaker factory components than others and this is when those issues start to occur in colder weather because it puts more strain on the fuel system to keep pressure where it should be.

I appreciate the comments. I was sure I’d get banned for saying less than wonderful things about a sponsor. It has happened to me before in other forums when I was not being abusive and just expected it here too.

I have been driving stock now for a while and just can’t take that lag and torque management anymore. Lol. Ordered the auto octane from Gearhead. Might try the AJP tunes also. Just really like the idea of the auto octane and not having to worry about it if I can’t find 93. Others who have had problems on v11 seem to be good on Gearhead, so I hope it solves my issues too. Will definitely be logging the **** out of it and making sure there’s nothing troubling. I’m really gunshy now.

If I haven’t been banned for being vocal about tuners then you won’t.

If anyone is interested shoot me a pm or give me a call 313-561-5500 ext 104 or ask for cody and i will do my best to get this resolved for you in any way needed!

I'll load my LMS tune back up and see if I can get it to do it on a regular basis. It seemed like turning off traction control fixed the 1-2 gear issue for me, but I only tested it a couple of times before switching the tune back. I'm only 3 hours south of you guys, so if I my car still has the issue I wouldn't mind bringing it up there if nobody closer is able to.

We would love to make that happen for you if the issue still occurs! Shoot us a pm and we will get you handled
