First I like this site. Learning alot about my car, seeing as now I've had it for 10 years. So I ran that EEC test I get the following.

KOEO 116- can't find the code
636- can't find it
335- DPFE sensor Voltage higher or lower than expected.???? What the??????

KOER 116-?
636-?
172-HEGO sensor indicates lean system (RH)
136-HEGO sensor indicates lean system (LH)
336- Exhaust back pressure high/ PFE circuit voltage high.

SO now what does all this mean? Anyone know what the codes that I can't locate mean? And what about the codes I do have, what do I need to do to fix the problem?

Thanks for any help.

116-Engine coolant (ECT) sensor out of range.
636-transmission sensor out of range. These two don't apply, cold start; probably too cold to get a correct reading.

172-HEGO sensor indicates lean system (RH)
136-HEGO sensor indicates lean system (LH)
This code is telling you that your O2 sensors are bad, replace them both.

335-Egr feedback signal is/was out of range. Egr probably needs replaced.
336-PFE sensor signal is/was high. Don't know about this code.

Click on the SEARCH button and perform an individual search on each code number.

There are 43 posts in which "116" appears.

There are 28 posts that contain the string "636"

Perform one more SEARCH on my user number (1084) and the search term "PREREQUISITE"

Perform all SEARCHes in this section only of the forum.

DPFE is your EGR control valve... I would suspect that you have either a diaphragm leak in your EGR valve... or a bad control valve....

I would fix these first... erase the codes... then road test and see if any of those codes come back..

While your running the KOEO test, and the stored codes are running, pull the jumper pin out. This will erase all stored codes and clear the memory of the EEC. Doing this will let you know what you have fixed and what you haven't.
