So my cars dies last week, I waited a week for a 190lph pump from SP get it and today I'm installing it. When the car died I turned the key when I stopped and I get no prime pump makes no noise at all so I know its the pump. Anyways back to today put the new pump in and I get it back together and turn the key and still nothing. NO NOISE at all from the pump switch ircm from another one I have that I know work and still nothing is there any other fuse or relay with would cause this I'm sitting here now waiting for a response before I start putting tools away.

Any help appreciated!!

Check the inertia switch located in the left hand side of the trunk. It's designed to trip whenever you get in a wreck so you don't pump fuel all over the place, but i had one break so it would trip just driving down the road, causing many headaches and much wasted time. I think to reset it all you have to do is push it down (or pull it up, i forget which one). It's worth a shot.

Thanks Redskull thats what it was must of tripped when I went over a bump or something. Oh well got a high flow pump in there now and a nice little access for future pump changes. Would of been nice to save the 55 dollar tow bill though. lol

I beat my head against a wall for serveral days after I paid to get the car towed, paid for a new fuel pump, and paid the shop to put it in because i didn't want the hassle of dropping the tank, and then paid them for the 'extra troubleshooting' because they couldn't get it working. But on the plus side, i think the shop was as embaressed as I when they told me what it was. Such is life....
