Before you replace anything you should check the codes. Try using the search feature you will find tons of info on how to read these codes and what they mean. Do you have a tach signal when you are cranking it over? If not it most likly is the crank sensor.

Welcome to the SHO.

Is the tachometer registering when cranking? The crankshaft position sensor (CPS) generates the signal to feed not only the tach, but the distributorless ignition system (DIS) module to fire the spark plugs. If this sensor is not providing a signal, there will be no spark.

A failed CPS does not always set an error code. If the CPS is determined to be the cause, you can get the Wells SU242 at AutoZone for $34.99. To replace it requires removal of the accessory belts, crankshaft damper and timing belt covers. Might as well perform the front end 60K service and repalce the timing belt too.

None of those codes are likely to cause a "cranks but no spark" problem

Let us know what you see from the CEL and the tach while cranking as Scott suggested.

BTW, try cracking the throttle 1/4 of the way and see what happens.

You posted that the car's fuel pump was working. How did you verify this? Did you check for fuel pressure at the schreader valve on the fuel rail? It looks like a bicylce tire valve and should squirt out fuel when the center part is depressed (use a pen), and be careful it can squirt out quite a bit. You can use this test for fuel pressure if you don't have a fuel pressure tester. Also try starting the car with the gas fully depressed. Good luck and I hope you get it started.

Sounds like it has jumped time.

Pop the upper timing belt cover, set the crank to 0 TDC and see if the cam sprockets line up. If the cam sprockets are pointed at 6 0'clock, give the crank another 360.

Bet they don't line up.

While you're at it, turn the crank back and forth a couple of times while observing the cam sprockets. There should be abslutely zero hesitation or lash in the cam sprockets relative to the crank motion. If there is, you may have crank cancer.

Since the upper timing cover is off by this time, look for any red or brown dust inside the cover. This dust is a sure-fire hint that crank cancer is present.

I agree with Steve. It sounds like a timing issue.

Scott also mentioned, if you are that deep in the engine, you might as well 60k it while you are there. It would suck to have to tear it down a second time if you didn't, and something else goes wrong.
