Hey All,

Going to need to dive into this project. Can I effectively get access to everything, to allow me to swap out HID bulbs, if the car is parked flat on the ground? Or do I need to elevate? From youtube videos it looks like I have a fair amount of dis-assembly to get past the bumper cover and to the back side of the headlight housings. Any advice from someone that has been thru this task?

I just changed but of my bulbs last weekend, and the only 2 things I removed to get easier access were the filter on the drivers side and the tube going to the throttle body on the passenger side. It was a little difficult getting my hands in there, but it was definitely quicker than removing the front bumper.

This is what I was finding also. Very difficult access. Will need to look at what's needed to drop the bumper cover more closely, I had hoped that was NOT the necessary means. But pulling the throttle body tube and stuff did not look very easy either. Maybe a day when it's not 90+ degrees in my garage I will have better luck.

We have people here on the forums - born mechanics/postal type workers - nor snow sleet rain, or super disgusting weather will stop them. Also don't sweat the taking apart of the easier parts. I have removed all those parts they aren't that hard - however time consuming I found dropping the bumper easier, BUT can be a 2 person job when putting it back on, just someone to hold it in position.

Sorry weekend, glad Tex got the steps posted. If you have xenon, bulbs then you can change the bulbs out, for all other lights the beet like turn signal and all outside leads go to headlight revolution.

GTR are awesome turn signals, if you have the led brakelights - no serviceable bulbs, you can switch out license plate and backups.
