has any one put the 3.6 conversion kit in there gen 1 sho?

i found a 3.6 convertion kit for 6,000 any one evey had that done if so how much better does it run than the 3.0 if someone could tell me about the 3.6 how much power it produces and how good a engine it is plzz post if u know anything

Are you refering to the SHO Shop 3.6L stroker motor? If that is the case, most of them had an early demise. They had issues with the crankshafts due to being cut and rewelded. There is one that is still running (that I know of) in a Gen 2 ATX. At least as of last summer.

I should also note that it is likely that they are not even selling 3.6L any more. Besides the "specials" section that website does not get updated anymore.
