I know its horrible! I'm redoing it, putting a new box, everything. I know how to hook it all up and such, just not where to put things. I'll worry bout that later. BTW, there 4 15" speaker, two more you cant see behind. I got some work done, added new photos.

Probably a little bit more then a regular gen1 sho. But its fine. Instead of 143, I may only be able to go 140. I do have a few mods like underdrive pulley. But it will still be worth it to have a bad ass wagon.

the thing will still do the same top speed IMHO

the front end is the same aerodynamically, at those speeds and our power output an extra few pounds from the wagon body isn't going to hurt it at all

your SHO should be able to do more then 143..... I know mine will bury the speedo gauge... so thats over 145.... who knows how accurate the gauge is tho

Im just curious how much more weight they really are.
I had a 91 SHO that was 3450lbs but my 90 only weighs a tad over 3100 on the same scale.

why would you wanna go 143 in a taurus without a cage, fire suppression system and an emergency crew standing by? if you haven't beat that civic by 100, you ain't gonna.

The real question is why wouldn't you want to go 143+mph?!? This seperates the men from the boys!

i topped mine out racing a guy on a honda goldwing, he backed out of it at about 120...

my wife woke up when i hit the brakes and the spoiler on the decklid decided to break in half and partially separate from my decklid.

*BOOM*
wife: what was that?
me:terrorists, go back to sleep honey we'll be home soon
wife: seriously what was that
me: No clue woman, but i most definitely was not racing motorcycles down the mountain, that'd be insane.
wife:god you're wierd...
and then she went back to sleep.

hmmm...in a world full of suicidal deer, people behind the wheel who are barely coherent, parts built by the lowest bidder, police helicopters and potholes big enough to swallow a mid-60s Caddy, i'm a puss for not wanting to push my 15 year old, ton-and-a-half car with undersized brakes to a speed that equates to over 2 miles a minute? fine by me.
