Got my Rod Bearings Today

Ok so i got my rod bearings today and noticed they do not have the weep hole in them??? I got Clevite bearings the part number is cb-1385p. Did i get the wrong ones?

Yeah 6 of the bearings should have the weep hole, maybe all 12 actually. But only 6 of the weep holes actually lead to an oil passage and they're on the top side of the connecting rods.

Also i am doing this this weekend and i was wondering what do i use to lubricate the bearings before i put them in?

New motor oil. Alot of oil.

You can use assembly ****... I heave heard people who use regular engine oil but i wouldnt do that personally.

x2 for assembly ****. It won't run off the bearings as you assemble everything. Go down to AutoZone and ask someone behind the counter for 1 tube of assembly ****.... you won't see it sitting on the shelf in the store because they keep it in the back.

assembly ****.
but before you restart the car,un plug the DIS and give the car about two good 15 second turns.this will help rebuild the lost oil pressure.

OK yeah i have that here . i work for a part store and AUTOZONE is a no no for me. LOL thanks again i got the right bearings today so i will be doing this this weekend.

I'm just searching so sorry for the hijack - but SHObros and SHOnut no longer list/sell rod bearings. I got SCREWED by buying parts store cam seals for this car and they leak again already after like 500 miles, so I ordered new motorcraft oil pan seals, cam seals and motorcraft front main seal just to be safe and I figure while I have my oil pan off, I want to chain the rod bearings.

Where can I buy them?
