What would make my idle flucuate up and down from 1200-400-1200-400-1200-400, you get the point?

Its a 90.

As Prophet said, it could be a vacuum leak. It could also be a gummed up AIB valve. While I doubt there'll be anything there, try running your codes.

Unless you just happened to have an extra IAB valve, you will find that the part is like 75 bucks...I would try to clean the one you have out with berrymans first to see what it does to your idle.

A TPS is 19.99 at AZ and is pretty easy to change...I happened to have replaced that recently but that was not because of the jumpy idle.

The one thats on the car is probably original with 99K, I'd rather replace it. If it doesn't do the trick, at least I'll have a new one.
