anybody know what cars/years will swap with 89 5 spd sho fuse panel? the 20 amp circuit breaker 2 hrs old from autozone overheated and started a fire in my fuse panel. luckily there was no severe damage to anything but the fuse panel.

Was this a CB replacing a factory one? If not why are you using a CB? Have you been blowing fuses?

im late but anyway it way replacing the factory cb slot with a new cb. the problem i believe was in my seat!! for a while i noticed that when i leaned my left leg down ******* the edge of the seat i'd hear a motor humm. i didn't pay it any mind though!

anyway, for some reason that i forget i took my seat out after the fire and noticed a few wires with absolutely no insulation on them. :oogle:
this was probably the culprit. luckily my seat didnt catch on fire cus i wouldnt have been able to blow that fire out with my mouth for sure.

i also noticed and had to fix a fusable link or two that came off the starter solenoid.

anyway, the fusebox was salvagable enough that i was able to re-use the clips, some spots and only re-route the cb spot. also i unplugged all the seat connections.

hope someone can benefit from my late jumbo. :thumb:
