For those of us living the 100+ degree outside life right now, makes sure you check your tire pressure. (Not damage to a SHO)

That zoom zoom went boom boom. What the heck was the tire pressure set at originally before the heat ballooned it up?

Yep! My escapes tires were set at 32psi when it was like 30 degrees out. Just aired them down from 40psi couple days ago after a drive. Big difference from temp

So in other words, way over inflated regardless of temperature? 10 degrees is equal to 1-2 psi according to most sources. A temperature swing from 0-100 would only add about 20 psi resulting in around 55 psi.

He supposedly "pumped them up until the bulge went away" last winter. Car came into the dealer for tire wear issues (duh) then parked it out front and left. Service folks heard the boom, they put tires on it and sent it to me.
