I already have some on my car but I ordered some on behalf of a friend. I had them in literally 2-3 days and I think they look just fine. They're not OEM, but I think they still look sharp.

Mine came last Friday. I haven't put them in yet, but they seem ok compared to some stock ones that I have. The only thing I really noticed different was a drain hole(?) on the corner light.

BTW, no DOT or SAE stamp.

I don't know that I would go that far, if they're the same quality as the last batch of clear corners that were coming from Taiwan. One major problem with them, is the rubber housing gasket deteriorates in relatively short time, expecially if you get paste wax in it. While not clear corners, I can get new OEM SHO corner/sidemarker lamps for $30 a piece.

yeah i got 2 sets from them and a set for my dakota,im pretty satisfied ,you get what you pay for.

What he meant was, they were a little on the cheap side but they still looked good and fit well.

OEM Orange = not sexy
Clear corners = Major sexy

In my humble opinion of course. ;)

The gasket on mine seems to be ok, they've been on there for a couple of years now. I don't go pulling on it very often to see if it's falling apart though.

Well here is an in depth look at them thru pictures. I can see where people are coming from when they say they are "cheap" since they seem flimsy compared to the Ford ones you've had on your car since day one. You must remember tho that the ones you're replacing have been out in the elements for a long time. There are really only a few major differences as far as I can tell - and they may or may not affect the "quality." I took pictures of my driver (left) side install to compare them. The 94 amber lens is always on top and the clear on the bottom in the following pics.

Up close amber vs. clear lens:

Now here's where the major differences are.

Rubber seal/weatherstripping:

And the plastic welds to hold it to the housing:

The mounting studs:

I noticed that the rubber seal had a little more "leeway" as in being more supple/flexible than the stock ones. But this should be normal since the stock ones have been baking in the sun/elements for over a decade making them stiff and brittle. I'm sure they'd be a little more like the clears when they were new or if I used silicone conditioner on them. Then the mounting studs are of a different design. I didn't notice a difference in strength since almost all newer headlights carry the exact same looking stud nowadays. I didn't mind because sometimes even Ford comes out with redesigned replacement parts for older cars. And lastly are the plastic welds that are on the clears look a little more "sloppy" than the ambers which is where I'm sure many of the concerns of the seal tearing away from the housing occur.

Here's before/after pics of them on the car:
Sho006
Sho016

Overall I noticed no major difference in "overall" quality in the clears when compared to the stock ambers. As far as the eye can tell, the fluted lens is exactly the same, the housing exactly the same, the chrome reflector exactly the same, and the rubber exactly the same. Only difference is it now makes my ugly yellowed headlights stand out even more between them and the super clear fishtanks.

Hope that helped.

Oh and just to let people know. Both of those lights in the corner light up amber. To avoid the fried egg look I used Philips CrystalVision Extreme 194s for the marker light and switched out the plain white 3157s(? if I remember correctly) for Sylvania SilverStar 3157s in the signal light. CrystalVision Extreme also has a chrome-coated amber bulb in 3157 but I liked the look of the SilverStars better, they're coated in an oily-robocop-bluish tint. I avoided yellow LED bulbs cause they don't output enough light from the standard bases.

I switched from white to amber for the signal light cause I actually got pulled over once when a cop saw my turn signal "corner spotlight" was white. He insisted that they had to be amber even though I was trying to tell him his Crown Vic had the same thing! I actually think it looks better too and it still lights up the turning curb nicely.

I'll try to get more pics comparing the light output at night when it gets dark here later on.

No issues here either. Ordered on the 14th, received on the 19th and installed on the 20th. Fit perfect and look great! Didn't think quality was that bad either. I'm happy!

What problems are you having?

Or how you scammed so many people out of their money MinneSHO? YOU should stop worrying about other people's exhaust and send everyone their money back.

So ironic that you of all people are lecturing others about scamming forum members.

Big thumbs down.
