it's a character from Aqua Teen Hunger Force, he always tells their neighbor Carl "Tonight, YOU!" right before he rapes him. I figured the SHO was going to be doing a lot of similar things to other unsuspecting cars.

Are you going to take it to a drag strip or dyno? Please do.

that intake is awesome, so is the rest of the build! any videos of the car?
Beautiful!!
Any chance of selling that intake to order?
Awesome, thanks! You may be able to get a hold of Doug and order the parts needed. I'm not at liberty personally to re-create it. I know I could but then I would have to remove the whole damn thing again. :banghd: Hit him up, he probably still has the template right in his office as a souvenir to remind him of how much a PITA it (and I) was for past four years.:laugh_ti:
Let me know when you do it! I will join you. This car has got me looking at M90 blowers and prices of aluminum sheeting.![]()
Already got the TIG welder at the school shop.
Also have a MTX-IV that some day I would like to have put in to get rid of my failing ATX.
Cool car, looks great Powdercoated!
Thanks again for the kind words guys, much appreciated. And NebraskaSHO, I had to paint it with a can instead because the two times I powdercoated the parts they just didn't look right. Too dark of a grey and then the silver I had looked too blue-ish for my liking. And by that time I was fed up and "hammered silver" painted it. I'll be back soon......Sorry I missed it before it left GA. The intake risers were a nightmare to make. The holes are not symmetrical! Figures. Anyways, looks really nice. I remember the day you dropped it off.

Yup, it's me Larry. The powdercoating turned out really nice. I sold my SHO a few years ago, but it's still on the road. I saw it at Doug's shop a couple of months ago. I'm back into BMWs again.
Sad to hear you sold your SHO though. Funny you are into Bimmers again. I almost bought a sick ass 6 series Bimmer before I ordered my new SHO. I'm still wanting one and will have one here one day.
why not make the upper intake tall enough so you dont have to make risers?
kind of like my quick paint drawing.

I thought that was you Larry. I remember you and still have your card in my wallet.Sad to hear you sold your SHO though. Funny you are into Bimmers again. I almost bought a sick ass 6 series Bimmer before I ordered my new SHO. I'm still wanting one and will have one here one day.
I guess you could do a one piece plenum. And it would work fine. I don't see a problem with doing that. My advice would be to do separate pieces and then weld it all up together though. That way fitment is dead on and all the bolt holes line up correctly.

) wife about spilled the leftovers, and I smoked his tail. Holy crap it was f'n awesome! I know the SS Cobalts aren't all that, but I knew it would smoked a stock V-8 SHO by far. I really can't wait to get this thing fine tuned. And I was pondering selling it just to get out of the older SHOs and just keeping the new one. Maybe not now. Who knows? I'm wanting to see a dyno sheet really bad, I know that. And I may even slap back on the stock rims/tires to help gain a little bit more out of her.
I think it's time for a video of it for you guys also. Let me see how the weekend weather goes. Sorry for the long post fellas, but I'm sure some will get a kick out of it.You have peaked my intest in this post! I'd love to hear some whine....from a v8 sho!
