Ok, just finished removing the WP. Easier than the old '90, but DAMN!! The new one should be here within a few days. Meanwhile..........

1. I noticed the plug for the coolant temp sensor is held on by wire. It seems the tab had broke and somebody rigged it. How could I replace that?

2. I'm getting a bit of a miss under acceleration and cruising. The car doesn't seem to have been very well kept. When I changed the plugs, the front back was newer than the back.:shakehead Anyplace special I should look? Coils? MAF?

3. There seems to be an electrical gremlin. The temp gauge twitches, the stereo will blink, and the gas gauge twitches when the blinker is on.

Thanks for any help in advance. I'm recovering quite well from my wreck in September, so I REALLY want to be in a SHO again.:dribble:

1. splice in a new connector?

2. Coils would be my first guess, but when I had a coil going bad, it was only really noticeable at idle. MAF maybe if it's really dirty, or has gotten wet. I'd try the plugs and cleaning the maf first.

3. I'd be checking the output of the alternator first, personally, but I'm not entirely sure

Plugs are new now, but I will check the alt.

It does seem to miss a little at idle. How would I find a bad coil?

It seems the rear coils fail first, most likely due to the heat. Visually, bad coils are often cracked. You can get good quality coils on ebay, seller is ALANISDEALS.

The plug on the temp. sencer can be fixed by(as siad above) by splicing a new end on or by removing the connecters from the plastic piece and replacing it. Splicing on new connecter is easyer.
2 It is true the rear coils usually go first because of more heat. I had one that was missing under load and upon close examination there was a tiny gray spot on the lower part of it which was were it was shorting out. When you remove the coil for inspection handle it carefully because the gray spot can be rubed off easely.
3 If it is only your two gauge and radio when you turn signal is on, oh no. Try the simple things first. If it is everything electical that is blinking the preveous answer could be likely.
