Well, I think my SHO is dead. It started making noise the other night and now today i think she is dying.

It almost sounds like rattle cans. It got real loud today then when i got hme i can hardly hear it. It just does it when you idle or between shifts. You know like coming down from a rev.

Then again it might be exhaust??? I dont know, but it dont sound good!!

What are the symptoms other than the noise you're hearing? Any power loss? If so, maybe rod bearings... if not, maybe your exhaust just sucks!

Damn Roy, I wish you would have brought it down here back in Feb/March so I could have done your bearings. Next time start it up and place your hand on the oil pan and see if you feel a major vibration. If you do, it is internal. Pulleys will make a nasty sound if they are going sour as well. Does your oil idiot light come on? If so, thats your rod bearing(s). If you can get it to me, I can check it out and worst case scenerio, put in a used 3.0 (it will cost about $300 for the motor).

Its not the motor thank god. The other day i pulled in my drive and bottomed out and it took a couple of days for the exhast hanger to completly break. Im getting it fixed Monday. It broke 2 hangers so it vibrated all the way up to the engine were it sounded like it was coming apart!!!

The guy also told me i have Borla mufflers. I was like no way, he said ya, they r old style Borla's but thats what i have.
