The guy I bought my car from said it had Eibach springs. However I've read on here that Eibach springs along with stock struts, will blow out the stock struts? Is there any way to tell if my car has Eibachs as opposed to stock springs. I've only parked next to one otehr Gen II SHO and mine did seem to sit a little lower. shrug

jack the car up and pull a wheel off, the eibach springs have eibach and the part number written on them, they should also have a nice coat of black powdercoating on them compared to the stock black paint.

I had Eibachs and new Motorcraft struts installed about 2 years ago, and yes, the stock struts are in serious need of replacement. squint I only bought the motorcraft because I was holding out for Tokicos but they were backordered for something like 6 months. Bad investment decision on my part. I think I'm gonna pick up some Tokicos this spring needless to say.

All the Eibachs that I have seen have had a dark charcoal colored finish.

I checked today and they are a dark grey color, with a sort of sparkle finish. I couldn't actually find the word Eibach, but I found some numbers that definetly weren't Ford numbering. So I assume what I have is Eibach's, but I have stock struts. Oh well looks like I will have to go to Koni's. :D

There are a few ways to tell, one is def. not to just look at the car cause you really can't tell just by the ride height. The 1st way is to Go out on a windy road with your car and then take a tired old SHO on the same road, you'll feel the difference....haha just kidding, give me the part # on the Eibachs and I'll find out for you. I deal with them Directly..
