How to tell if car is tuned ?

I just bought a 2011 SHO with 100,000 miles. I’ve had many fast cars in my day, and driven a SHO one other time years ago. This car just seems to have more power, and firmer shifts. It does have a an aftermarket air intake, but seems stock otherwise.

Is there a way to tell if this car has been tuned?

Usually a tune makes use of a 2.5 or more commonly 3 BAR map sensor. Search for 3 bar map in the genIV section and see what the part numbers are and compare with the one you have.

I think there are 2 map sensors on this car. The one on the top of the intake manifold is the one you want to check. Top plastic sensor sitting directly on top middle of metal tube
