E.A.T.C gone crazy

this morning while driving my E.A.T.C started flashing on and off every10-20 seconds but now while sitting at idle ths screen is fine, this is an upgraded hard button version but dont know what it came from and its been in here for a while. any ideas.

Check your battery cables.

I had the same thing happen to me recently. Check your alternator. It turned out that the alternator was overcharging the battery causing "crazy" things to happen. Use a volt. meter to see how much voltage the alternator is giving to the battery. Hope this helps.

I recently had the same problem and it turned out to be my battery cables. The positive cable was loose and corroded at the starter and had rubbed through up by the radiator. I replaced both cables. Works great now.

Your Alternator is bad, same thing happened to me and it took forever to figure out what the problem was.
