So about two weeks ago I installed the Duralast GT brake pads and rotors. Compared to stock, the brake fade is gone and they bite much harder. These brakes are able to lock up the sport comps, before I never saw ABS kick in. It was all about $550. The downside is they're pretty loud, lost of squealing.

My stock PP pads were noisy too. I went with the Power Stop Ceramic Pads and drilled and slotted rotors amd they work great and are very quiet. I did find the limits of them, but it was with very agressive driving, down a very technical, tight, numerous turn, mountain road.

It will be interesting to see if, in time, they may wear out your rotors much faster.

I won't be able to tell since I haven't run these rotors with normal pads before. I know the stock rotors were warped to **** by 55k, which is what prompted the upgrade.
