Hello all! I just wanted to share my recent experience with upgrading the horrible brakes that come on our 2010-2012's.

A bit of backstory. My car is a 2011, and one of the only things I disliked about the vehicle when I purchased it was the limitations of the brakes. They had nearly no bite, heated up too easily, and faded quickly.

After much research I ended up getting Centric GCX blank rotors, and Raybestos Specialty Police semi-metallic brake pads. Part numbers are as follows.

Front
Centric GCX Rotors: 320.61102
Raybestos Specialty Police Brake Pads: SP1158PSH

Rear
Centric GCX Rotors: 320.61081
Raybestos Specialty Police Brake Pads: SP1377PSH

Though I wanted to go with the Interceptor setup, the price of the parts was something I couldn't justify at the time. I got all of my parts for about $350, or just about half the price of the PI setup.

This combination provides an aggressive bite, does not heat up quick, and the only fade I experienced was after several moderate downhill stops, followed by a hard stop. It is a dustier brake pad however.

Yes, this is another brake upgrade thread, but I haven't found really any reviews or insight regarding the Rabyestos Police pads for our vehicles. I'm happy with them, and they perform just as expected.

Thanks, @jd1320. I have a 2011 non-PP and want to upgrade the brakes, especially now that I have a new Mach 1 and so am used to having serious stopping power under my foot. I decided to make some investment in the car this winter (now at 103K miles) to get at least another enjoyable 50K miles or more as our cruiser car/truck-in-disguise. PTU and RDU will get attention first then the brakes. Did you upgrade your master cylinder or brake lines at all?
