Hey Everyone. I just turned 140K on my 2013 SHO PP. It's been a fun reliable ride the past 4 years having put about 45K on it. I've changed the oil regularly and took your advice early on by getting now 2 Ford ESPs from Lombard Ford in CT (www.LombardFordWarrantys.com contact Jack Guisti) that covered just about everything- PTU, 1 turbo, water pump, and much of the front end including, struts, towers, axles, tie rods, control arms and more, thanks to New England winters and what seems like year round *** holes. This past spring I replaced all the pads and turned the rear rotors, not the front ones though since they looked and measured OK. All was good for about 3 months until I started hearing a humming and very slight vibration when applying the brakes. Typically this happens at higher speeds after running for several minutes. There is no scraping or grinding and I stop just fine, straight as an arrow, no pulling to either side. I still have slotted drilled rotors from the previous owner. (SHHH don't tell Ford). I've been searching for similar Q&A but have not found anything. Someone thought maybe a bearing but this only happens when braking. Someone else said it could be the slotted rotors, which I've also been told don't really keep things cooler or cleaner and are just "Rotor ****". Appreciate any clues on the humming.... no pun intended.... (maybe) Thanks
