Yours just arrived today, shipping is frantically scrambling to get all the back ordered ones out. THEN we can fill any new orders. *wink wink, nudge nudge*

My pocket book needs A LOT more than flirting to be an easy date and "open up!" ;) Any specials, 50% off and free shipping to celebrate National Arbor Day??!!

I know this may not be approved by most...but felt i would throw this info in this thread. Not that there is a question asking for it. But what the ****...
*use a spark plug defouler on ur test pipe(s) to keep the cel light at bay.
*have had to make exhaust gaskets on the fly before...tin foil folded about 10 times pressed n cut to fit works ok.
...old ricer day tricks. Obviously the real gaskets and using your cats are the best options. I just felt like sharing. Lol

The defoulers from what I understand don't work on our platform...

I just installed my Catless DP's I got from LMS. Paired with the CAI, 3bar map sensor, and tune I got through them, I have to say I'm more than impressed. I don't have any numbers, but I can honestly say it's a totally different car now.

Interesting to here the results. I've been debating on downpipes for awhile but haven't seen much results from just downpipes install alone.

youll get a better result from just downpipes catted or not over stock and better result than doing a catback exhaust. the factory dp are so restrictive its not even funny. your turbos will be able to spool up quicker and breathe better

I agree, I think they made almost if not more of a difference than the tune itself, and hearing them spool up is a joy to the ears as well!

exactly lol the benefit of being able to allow your turbos to spool up anywhere ive seen 200-500 rpm quicker and ive seen performance gains of 20-40ish hp and gains of torque the same worth the money

So for various reasons it has taken me little while to join your little "Down Pipe club" but I finally got mine ordered today. I went in a slightly different direction then most of you, I went with the PPE with cats pipes. I accept my flow numbers may not be as good but they meet my needs. I did get mine ceramic coated Glacier Silver, so they wont be polished but maybe I won't burn my Dads grass anymore when I park in the back yard. Going to take awhile to get them but I will let you know how things turn out.

So you are creating more work for your dad then :) Literally no diff between catted/uncatted in real power terms, so you made a good call!

LOL My Dad does love his grass, its just two spots you can actually see the outline of the cats. The PPE pipes do flow a little less then other pipes but you don't get any codes and if you want you can run a stock tune. Its just my road trip car so the small difference in flow really will not effect me at all. Besides I like being different.

I'm guessing this with the LMS tune, CAI, tstat and downpipes?

Which tune file are you running and octane rating? Did you install the 3bar yet?

...questions

I have been tossing around the idea of installing down pipes on my 2016 sho.. The questions I have
can I run with stock exhaust back and are the gains worth the price.. I see they say 15 to 20 hp.. Any
real info on your gains would be appreciated... I am tuned by lms and its a non pp..
Thanks..
Will less restrictive down pipes void the warranty?
