Flex pipe/Downpipe

Recently heard a rattle sound coming from under my car, and saw my flex pipe was broken. Should I have it replaced by a shop with a universal flex pipe, or upgrade my downpipes? I am currently stock, but I am looking to mod down the line.

Depends on what you want to spend and your time frame for mods. Downpipes are nice upgrade, but can be expensive compared to just fixing it. And there's the wait time for good downpipes too.But if you're going to upgrade, pipes for sure.
