Have noticed my flex pipes are hanging very low and not in alignment with the rest of the exhaust. They are clearly stressed. Haven't had a chance to lift the car for inspection yet. Possible lower transmission mount? No drive train issues I can feel.. yet.

There are two rubber exhaust insulators near the flex pipes. Check to see that they are not broken or missing. #12 in the drawing.

The hangers are there and in good shape. The flex pipe with the stress is the one on the driver's side so a possible drivers side engine mount sacked, or the torque mount under the transmission?
Unfortunately I also found the output shaft seal leaking on the PTU.
Dealer quotes are outrageous to replace it. Has anyone done it with car on jack stands?
