I myself replaced the original seats in my '89 with those from a '90 or '91 just a couple years ago. There were no differences in either fit or mounting to speak of.

If you need to replace that seat, and you've found a replacement at a reasonable price, I see no reason why you shouldn't go ahead and swap 'em out.

I believe the side bolsters are different in size.
And I know the headrest are sewn different.
The 89's have the material running side to side.
While the 90-91's have the material running top to bottom.
Nothing that effects anything, just not 100% correct.
I believe their is no difference in the rear seats.

The 93 seat is flat across the top rather than having the 2 "headrest" bumps. It will fit but it won't quiet look the same.

I ran into some fitment issues when I replaced my 93 seats with some from a 92, the rear lap belt latches come through the bottom seat in 92 (and maybe some other years) and they come between the seats in my 93.
I just had to unbolt the latch from the bottom of the car and rotate it 90 degrees to make it work, so they are horizontal vs. vertical.

Oopps, I forgot about that.
The early belts will work with the later seats.
But the later belts would not work with the early seats.
