dies when i hit 6k??? HELP

i was messin around with some people and when i was going on the on ramp i hit it and the car died at 6,000rpm. this is the first time it has happened. now it drives perfectly fine but if i take it to 6,000rpm then the rpm will drop and the car dies and it takes like 15 min for it to start again. WTF. i dont get it. any help would be appreaciated. THANX

Edit: took it to Auto Zone and it threw 2 codes......212-loss of ignition signal
216-coil 2 primary circuit fail

i would check and clean the connection on your MAF and run the codes

Sounds like the crank sensor (CPS) is on the way out.

High rpm failure sounded like coil to me. I thought that before i read you mentioning coils in your posts.
