Hadn’t seen a thread for this already existing but if I missed it we can delete. Thought we could use a spot for anyone who wants to share detailing tricks etc as well as products we all use to get the job done. Not just the SHOs either any and all of our toys

9EE3AE01 5849 4681 9B13 8F6B616EEB32 I use Collinite 915 wax , I use a tire dressing to dress tires, then I use pledge on them afterwards to keep my satin shiny finish on them with no sling. I use rain-x waterless car wash and rain repellent with a microfiber towel for my windows (streak free ) smells good too.Just recently been using that. I have a California duster. I also use pledge on all the plastic on the car, gives it a satin shine and it lasts. I never drive it in the rain or snow. I’ve had the car a year now and it hasn’t seen any water. I do wipe it clean everyday I drive it though so it never is really dirty. It gets wax twice a week usually. I know some will say overkill cause u only need a thin layer but oh well always done it that way and happy with my results so. Let’s keep on shinning !

I use pledge on all of it. And yes the mud flaps are Taurus specific. I think I pd$ 85 for the set. Not a lot of flap there though they are small and just blend in with the plastic surround. Looks good though.

Mines been corrected and ceramic coated. I used a budget ceramic that I think has done well. I’ll try to link it at some point. I’ve also got a car x product that you dilute for dressing your tires and plastics I’m going to try.

Been using Klasse for several years now. Have never found anything else that is as durable or shiny. I apply it with a Porter Cable 6424 Random Orbital Polisher. Water beads at least 8 months.

Good thing about the Klasse system is that you can apply it to anything and looks great on the black plastic trim, windows, etc.

Very impressed with the car pro perl product. Diluted at 3 parts water one part Perl it’s very effective on the plastic exterior trims. Cleaned the plastic inner wheel well and coated it as well. Care looks like it just rolled out of the factory. Non greasy just clean and a nice satin look.

Wizards is awesome ! I like the detail spray they have as well. Haven’t used it in a long time though. I get products through work that work really well so haven’t had to purchase anything in many years. I can order most things that I like if I wanted through work but I’m not one to abuse the system. I love to see we all use so many different products and we are all happy with them. So so many products to use. It’s great.

Best bug remover I’ve used right here. Removed weeks worth of bug guts with light to barely moderate pressure after letting it set for just a minute or two. BAC4BC7B B2E8 434E 97E3 6F40F259621C

My Ceramic Coating is streaking and starting to fail. I think I am going to strip it and go with the The Last Coat.

Mine went through two terrible sand storms and my paint still good. My glass is pitted, but still not enough for me to do anything about it. I want to pull all the trim off and paint match it, and while it is being paint matched do another full correction.

That’s definitely intense conditions. I do like the idea of the easier to apply coating. Ceramic is a job and a half sometimes. I just watched a video of F11 vs the The Last Coat and the TLC was much more hydrophobic after several days compared to the F11. Might have to look into TLC. Glad you brought it up
