Last night coming home a deer decided itd be fun to try and play frogger and ended up with me and the poor sho going through a bush and a fence then finally sliding to a stop 5 ft from a neighbors house. The best part is that when I went to go explain what happened to the home owners they started screaming through the door "WERE CALLING THE COPS! LOCK THE DOORS" and they kept screaming it as im standing on the front porch bleeding and trying to explain through the door what happened. How neighborly of them:banghd:

Agreed, as much as it sucks to destroy your car, it's much safer to just plow through it and keep the car straight. Glad to hear you're ok though man, sucks to have neighbors like that though.

Best thing you can do for a neighbor like that is to bake them some cookies and knock on their door at about 3:00PM. Leave the cookies there with a note that says

Hello,
My name is Andrew. The other night I got into an accident with my car when I swerved to avoid hitting a deer. I came to your door to apologize for damaging your property. I was in pain and I was bleeding but I wanted to do the right thing.

These cookies are a "thank you" for treating me so neighborly. When you eat them, try to imagine how you would like to be treated if anything like that happened to you.

The car is alright for the most part. Hood is a bit dented by the lights, destroyed the passenger mirror, ripped the front license plate off, broke both front blinker covers, and the back driverside cover, it actually did save me some cutting work by removing my midpipe though, the battery has a nice chunk missing from the bottom because it hopped out of its holder onto the pulley which decided to then start to eat its way through the bottom of it, dash lights went out for some reason? idk, and my my interior has a nice coating of pine needles, also its leaking some coolant. Yeah i totally shoulda just plowed over bambi though.. atleast then id have some steaks right now as consolation. :banghd:
