Custom instrument cluster?

Has anyone made there own instrument cluster useing autometer gauges? or something like it. since no body makes one for these cars.

I believe he means actually buying each guage individually and putting them into some plastic fitting to fit the car. I have considered this with some Digital Guages off of the web, but it would cost and require some custom fabrication...

Yeah a Piccolo knows what i mean. i know autometer makes a drop in instrument cluster for mustangs. also for older trucks. I am assumeing nobody has done any fabrication like this. I was thinking of purchasing an old cluster from a recker and playing around with that. should keep me out of trouble fo a little while. if i ever finish it i will be sure and let you all know

I have played around with the idea somewhat. I mocked up some gauge cutouts using images on summit racing and cut to the proper diameter and taped them inside of a spare cluster. It would take some fabrication (it is a tight fit) but I think its doable. The only problem is the cost and with a 3.2 swap coming up in the near future, money wasted on 97+ Ford EATC's that I plan on swapping in plus my grey to black interior swap, I have my hands full at the moment. :)
