My 93 ATX has 70,00 Org. mi. Just tried to engage the cruise today on freeway and it did not enagage. Upon exiting freeway I turned OD off and cruise now worked. Parked car came back and cruise worked w/ OD on. Whats up ? Is it electrical short never had a problem w cruise until today. Trans is acting up. OD can only be turned on or off while gear selector is is 1st. Short in wire probally. Two weeks ago I engaged OD off in first while stopped, but had no 2nd gear. Is it electrical short solenoid.

I had issues with mine after the 3.2 swap. I thought it was the VSS but it still doesn't work. Your VSS might be going out on you. Not sure where it is on the ATX but I know the CC works off of that. Make sure that works first.
