I installed a walbro fuel pump from shosource yesterday and a spectre fuel tank. If i'm still loosing pressure with the key off is it through a leaky injector. The regulator is working fine. With the old walbro pump the pressure would drop to zero in about 10-15 minutes, with the new one after an hour it only dropped down to 20psi.
When I had the old pump out I put compressed air to it and it seemed like the check valve was working fine, but I don't know. This led me to think the pulse damper was leaking so I removed it. I planned on reusing it, but I had nothing to cut the sending unit nor a way to the store to get cutoff wheels. I know I shouldn't have installed it like that but I had to at the time.
Also one more question when I filled the tank last night there was a problem. When the tank filled up fuel shot out of the tank this never happened with the last tank, why would it happen now? thanks
