As the title states... does anyone know the thread pitch of the temp sender? I'm looking to install some gauges, and this is the only sensor that I can't find the thread pitch for.

I got a spare, and I'll keep it in my pocket... goin to Lowes sometime tonight or tommorow, and I'll let ya know dude if no one knows first. You are talking about the one with the one pin deal right? Not the one with the connector? Just the push pin thing?

Yup, that's the one, thanks!

On the other sensors, the oil temp sensor is going to replace the oil pan drain plug; it's M14 x 1.5 IIRC, and the oil pressure sensor is 1/4 NPT, again, IIRC.

I'm thinkin more like 5/8 cause they didn't have anything there, but there were a few guys in agreement it was definately NPT.. :) 5/8 maybe 3/4 but I think it's 5/8 by lookin at it.

pretty sure its 1/4 npt. 5/8 or 3/4 npt is HUGE

the starting major DIA of 1/4npt is 0.48(iirc), and drill size is 7/16 or .4375(also iirc). it goes by the od of the pipe. so 1/4" pipe with 1/8" wall thickness is 1/2" or .500. the threads are tapered to seal with a little torque on em.

Did some more digging, and it seems that a few reference the size as 3/8-18 NPT.

Sound right to you guys?

Just take the thing to the hardware store and try and screw it into a few fittings.
