We finally got the mailing out for the 2009 Convention in New Hampshire.

If you went to the convention in the last 8 years or so, and we had a current address for you, you should get the letter with an overview, and registration form.

If you haven't gone to the convention, or have moved in the last few years since going to a convention, OR you don't get the mailing in the next few days, please, go to the shoclub.com web site and you can print the forms off the web site and send or e-mail them in

We are accepting PayPal this year but check is still the best way to pay if possible.

We need to hear from those going to the track events right away, these cost enough that in this economy, we need to be sure we are at least close to break even before moving forward with all contracts.

So send in those forms!

Questions? Please e-mail me directly at [email protected] or call 309-444-8570 during the day.

This will be a fun event in a beautiful area, don't miss it!

Again, if you don't get the mailing within a week of this note (by 3-4 or 3-5) please get it from the web site.

Your SHO Convention 18 committe thanks you!

You don't need to remember anyone's names, it says them on their badges already!

I don't remember you wearing one though when we were at Kalamazoo. :p

Yeah, folks don't tend to wear them unless it's necessary for an event. Plus some of us have gone to the neck lanyard, which is less trouble, but it always seems to flip itself backwards!

But,as one of the grey-haired old farts, folks seem to recognize me anyway......especially after most of a fifth of single-barrel bourbon at the banquet!!

I saved your life that night, Ron....

You may very well have!!

IIRC, Kirk finished the rest of the bottle that I had, and he spent big bucks at the auction. At least I was zoned out through most of it, and it didn't cost me anything!! :angelnot:

 That cooler trick was awesome, maybe the best one? May have been the worst if I'd been 1-2 seats to my left.
