Convention #10 is just a couple months away as this is typed (mid May, 2002)

Registrations are running ahead of schedule, and if you plan on getting into your favorite events, you should send in your registrations right away.

Maryland should be beautiful in July, the history of the area is unequaled, and you can even plan a visit to Washington DC and the races planned for the weekend before the convention, when the American Lemans Series and the Trans-Am series come to the capital.

Here is just a bit more information for those driving to the convention:

Virginia does not allow radar detectors. To be safe, remove it from the interior and pack in the trunk.

I have been told that Deleware and Maryland have a law against roll cages in highway vehicles. If you are so equipped, you might want to call them to make sure.
