I recently checked my compression and wanted to see if others drew the
same conclusions as I have.

Could be rings, valve seats or head gaskets. What other information do you have?

Haven't taken the heads off yet. I know oil is leaking out of the rear head, below the exhaust manifold. That is the only place. I never noticed any burning or loss of oil. I WAS losing about 1/4 quart per oil change in the spark plug wells.
Also, when doing the comp test I notices water spewing on the back firewall. So i know the rear gasket is gone.
It's looking more and more like I may just purchase a mtx. Especially if this turns out to be as bad as it's looking. cuss

Wow! Does that motor even run? Do you know exactly where the water splashing on the firewall is coming from? Has it been sitting for a while or something? What kind of plugs and wires do you have?

Runs. barely. Sounds like a Powerstroke diesel. The water appears to be coming from between 1 and 2.
Plugs and wires were Motorcraft. I changed the plugs and wires last week. Wires are Taylor 8.5.
I can see if I can get a sound clip for you.

Probably both of them. At least that seems to be the consensus. Valve covers are already off so removing the heads won't be that much of a PITA. At least I'll get to adjust my valves.

THAT would be the information I was referring to. Why make us guess when we have less information than you have?
