I bought a stage one from ShoBros and had it installed by the Ford dealer at home. After about 4 mile on it the thing will not hold past 4000rpm. So I know clutchmaster does not warranty this and I know shobros is swamped and doubt they would have luck getting a refund either, any ideas on what to do? In the mean time I just bought a dual friction centerforce from summit and hope that this one last at least 10 miles and not just 4, it would be nice to hit the double digits with miles on this one.

Is this something normal with the Stage 1 clutch? I would hope not for almost $400 bucks.

i had the same problem kinda.... bought a southbend "stage1" 1st gear it holds for the most part... the rest it slips like crazy.... tho i am boosted.... it slips very easly 5th gear low r's maybe 5psi boost.... slips to redline... wasted 400 or so on that clutch.. it seems like for shos you gotta get the best of the best you cant cheap out on a clutch or atleast thats my thoughts on the subject.
