I would like to know the cost of a clutch job(labor only)along with labor for installing a flywheel, and a pressure plate. Guessing its anywhere from 200-500 bucks... Thanks!

BTW- Nothing is wrong with mine, just curious

It really depends on local labor rates. I've seen them vary widely from area to area. I would guess 7-9 hrs of labor.

On my old 89 it was about $330 for the clutch, flywheel and tranny fluid flush. At the same time I had the motor mounts replaced as well as the subframe bushings and rear main seal but that was a little extra. Joe, you should actually have that receipt in the record binder I gave you :p

I thought the syncros for the MTX's had been discontinued? If not, what was cut from production?

Oh yeah...I forgot about that.

The reason I ask, is the 92 that is for sale on the SHO TRADER. 138K, SS CAI,Y-pipe,LPM,dynomax,60K(inc.waterpump) newer suspension etc...just needs a clutch put in(included),flywheel(included) and I would need to buy a pressure plate, I would get one from SHO NUT PERFORMANCE for about 200 bones. I just don't know...decisions, decisions....hmmmm....

The 60K being done @that price(1500 as is) is what got me interested, the mods are good too I guess. New paint(metallic green) is also a good thing. I will not buy this car if I cannot afford to keep my 89 though. I love that car too damn much to let her go. Its a toss up..buy this **** of a good deal car, or do the 60K on the 89 along w/suspension and fender(costs are about the same)

Joe would you be able to keep your 89 if you buy this 92? If you can, use one for a winter beater!
