Just to note, I think that Ford parts warranty is one year from date of installation. I too had mine replaced before 3/36 was up and the service adviser mentioned the 1 year parts warranty to me.

One of my summer project is to plasti-dip the peeling chrome on my taillights. I hate how crappy they look peeling like they are.

I noticed it on my 2011 Sho 3 days after warranty expired. Ford and the Kemlee dealership refused to do anything for me. 3 days too late and they lost my business forever.

Did you write to/call Ford Customer Service directly? They should be able to get these replaced for you as a courtesy, since you are barely out of warranty.
