Good, for you, mine has beenn maikng a whilning sound ever since i had it, I have been told thta it is the water pump, but not 100% sure. it seems to go away with clutch depressed. Because of the drop in RPM's perhaps? also did you notice a burning rubber smell, Mine does when it gets hot. how hard was it to put on, how much did you have to take off? help is greatly appreicated. P.S. That conector that says MOTORCRAFT, That is the DIS module, why it's on that side and not closer to the coil pack is beyound me :nut: . but that would DEFINATLY cause it not to start. LOL

Oh, sorry didn't see that other thing you said till now. Oil in the plug wells, means you have bad valve cover gaskets. VERY common on SHO's, but I've heard it is farly easy to change them.

only thing that ****** me off ids last week spent 180$ on a power steering pump and it didnt take the whine out .... thats what everyone said it was so i just replaced it ....i should have checked the rest of the pulleys first but everyone seemed so sure that i didnt think twice.......200$ 8 1/2 hours and a wasted sunday but in the end its one less thing i have to replace later so fuggit . but all i did to find the problem in the end was take out battery for space to work , remove the belt .....had belt tool was easy . then play with the pulleys ...... water pump whined with just my figers turning it was obvios . still wish i'd have taken the time to look before i leaped ( so to speak) on the power steering pump . i just took everyones word instead of puttin in the wrech time to find out . lesson learned.
