Ok, heres the deal. I have a 93 SHO with the ROD shifted tranny, and i just bought a cable shifted tranny and i want to know how to convert it over. i havent spent alot of time searching, but when i have its all been the whole conversion from shifter on down, with no real detail on how to bolt it to the transmission. If some one know exactly of a thread or has some pix and a walk through that would be great help!! thanks

actually.. its pretty easy... just unbolt all that cable shiftin crap. And your done. :) The spare tranny I bought was a cable shifter too, when everything is unbolted its ready for the "rod"

I had a 91 + years ago, and someone had already done the rod conversion on it. When I picked up that motor / tranny that was the first time I seen it. :) Kinda glad too, because I didn't even look at it until after I dropped my subframe and all that.
