I was going to say I have an extra set of cables in my trunk but doesn't look lik you need them. :) I'm curious about the rod shifter install too, let me know how it turns out and what I should expect because I definitely want to do that before convention time.

Besides having all the correct brackets, it really isn't a bad install. The only problem I had was where the end of the resonator connects to the rest of the catback system (you can see a little notch in it where the clamp holds these pieces together). That was a pain to get apart. Cutting those old cables to the shifter was hard too, but it sounds like you got half of that completed already. Make sure you **** the shifter ball and get a new exhaust gasket. Good luck with the install!

The rod conversion is a snap, we did it on Jasons 89...easier with 2 people, one to work under the car and another to dissasemble the console and cable shifter. Installation is a snap and is in shotimes. Let me know if you need a hand Brian, I can come by tomorrow if necessary.
