Well after a month of driving around with the brake duct on one side it finally got torn. It happened when I went onto a lift and the rolling body jacks where sticking up a little too high. Other than that, the duct has held up perfectly, and Ive had no issues with it what-so-ever. Over the course of the month I have seen temps differ as much as 100 deg from ducted to unducted side. I guess the test is over and Im going to rig up the other side.

Try to aim the duct at the center of the rotor, so that the air goes into the center and is pumped through the rotor vanes. If all the air does is hit one face of the rotor, where the brake pad rides, it will warp the rotor under high heat conditions. - zak

As far as warping, it really shouldn't matter where you aim it. You're only getting real air flow across it when you're moving and that means the rotors are turning. You're more likely to warp a rotor from the heat held inside the caliper/pad combo.

I do agree though. For better results, I aim mine at the center of the rotors, however I may aim it a little more at the caliper this year.
